If you are getting this then congratulations, you survived the war from the nightgate. I guess you get to know what is going on.
The Nightgate.[]
The Nightgate was a network of Homeworld's computers. It connected colonies and sent information faster than anything. It marked a marvel of invention in homeworld. At the center of it was the Artificial Intelligence known as V.I.C.K.E.Y.
Why was there fighting?[]
Something started happening to the gates. It began to make life for gems much more complicated. The wealthy started to blame it on the poor and vise versa. This war caused major damages to gem population. It could've been the end.
What remains that is left?[]
Sure there are some gems, but not a lot. Colonies are just left with just small groups. V.I.C.K.E.Y. sealed off the Nightgate, and with it everything needed to rebuild gem society. But there is hope. Hacking gems can hopefully find a way to get in to the nightgate and retrieve the data from there. Until then, this may be the last Gem News Issue.
Ok so this time, I am actually going to limit entries. The whole point is that you have to get into the nightgate and find the key to rebuilding gem society deep within the nightgate. However, V.I.C.K.E.Y doesn't like it.
