* '''War Axe Proficiency:''' Pyrope can summon an War Axe as her weapon. She has become highly proficient in using it through training, being extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat with it. She most usually uses the weapon to be able to abruptly attack her opponents and her targets or throw it like a boomerang, but the Axe's tilt makes the weapon an inefficient tool in knocking down other solid materials, such as walls or metal. She is ambidextrous; which means that she can wield two axes at the same time.

Pyrope is an unaligned gem that currently lives in Blanq, the White Moon: an abandoned and former colony of Homeworld's. Formerly, Pyrope was an aristocrat member of Blue Diamond's court and one of her personal confidant Garnets.

Pyrope already experimented a certain aversion in the court because of her different size and behavior, compared to other aristocrats, but nothing that really hurt her. She was caught helping humans escape Pink Diamond's Zoo and preventing off-colored gems from being shattered. She currently lives with a team of three Rubies in White Diamond's Abandoned Control Tower.

Appearence

At all, Pyrope is a medium-sized gem, a few inches larger than Steven and Connie. She has a light-red complexion, a snub nose, bubblegum colored pupils and a mainly dark red skin, which has color enhanced when her cheeks lightly blush.

Her hair is curly and styled in a curly bun behind her head and she has glowing shadows above her eye and her gemstone, that is located on where her left eye otherwise would be.

Her clothing is simple and also shows many shades of wine. She wears a dark red saint-tropez pants, fuchsia shoes and a high-necked blouse.

Personality

As a standard member of the Blue Diamond's court, Pyrope was initially and apparently a introverted, refined and cold-blooded gem. But inside, she just wanted respect from the other gems, recluse. As a consequence of the indirect preconceptions she suffered, Pyrope developed a short-tempered and stressed personality. Even in that way, she still had to be understanding, and when she maintained her former high position, she always had proximity to some other gems.

After her exodus from Homeworld, her unstable personality returned, pushing her to distance herself from everyone and wander around Blanq alone, until she found a shelter: White Diamond's Abandoned Control Tower. She remains with a divergent personality between a rude, quarrelsome and violent gem in the outside, but determined, strong and brave inside.

History

Around 6,000 years ago

Pyrope emerged on Homeworld, being destined to be a aristocratic gem and part of Blue Diamond's Court. However, she emerged defective in her size and was met with confused reception from the gems while working on there. Pyrope was kept in isolation while her fate was traced in the court. Blue Diamond, after a while, decided to keep Pyrope in her court, since her professionalism as a Ship Manager was as good as that made by the other gems. Even so, this acception did not cancelled out strange looks and judgments directed at her. With her high position in the hierarchy, Pyrope always attended the same places as the Diamonds, commonly being part of the jury of the Trials that happned there.

Pre-Rebellion

On a visit to Pink Diamond's Zoo, she later met Holly Blue Agate and some of the humans trapped there. Pyrope was there to inspect and evaluate the ships available at the Zoo, such as the Roaming Eye's ones. Besides that, see saw the great concentration of all that strange organic-ones, and felt that the same contempt gems felt for the human species was the same contempt with which they treated Pyrope for being defective at all. She also met an Amethyst there, one of the amethysts guards, known for being a perfect soldier made in the Prime Kindergarten. With Amethyst's help, who seemed willing to help her, led to the containment of some human specimens, where they managed to hide these humans in the Quartz Room. Keeping this secret of her own Diamond and not knowing what to do with the humans, Pyrope transfered them to the Underground Homeworld Kindergarten, along with a bunch of defective Gems that she had never seen, only heard of. Defective gems, just like her.

With a few years of honing techniques and hard work, Pyrope had her rise in her work and has managed to gain a great confidence and notoriety at Blue Diamond's Court and with the Diamonds themselves. Having her own ship and at her disposal, Pyrope still also sought out the humans she had saved from Pink Diamond's Zoo and took them to Earth's environment, even though she knew she would have problems along the way thanks to organic life. However, a Ruby, realizing the way Pyrope had returned to Homeworld, ended up discovering everything. With the secret spread, and increasingly deformed by the other Gems, the bad news reached The Diamonds, who would decide Pyrope's fate in a Trial. Pyrope was punished: Destabilized and arrested.

Jail Escape

Upon waking up in an underground cell, Pyrope stayed there after a reality shock. Unfortunately, she also found out that her trial would be held the next day she was there, and that the same Amethyst soldier who helped her with the humans escape was the one who was keeping her trapped. She also discovered that Amethyst had revealed Pyrope's secret to everyone, lying that she had no involvement in any of that. Furious and feeling deeply betrayed, Pyrope ended up having a fit of rage and, with that, achieved the feat of doing something she had never achieved before: Summon a weapon, which was an Axe. Even with little experience in that, Pryope managed to pass through the cells and shatter the Amethyst. Escaping the prison's hallways, she gradually defeated and shattered all quartzes that prowled around the place. Pyrope ran to the Ship Dock, where she stole a Roaming Eye and ran away as fast as possible. She was very quick until some authority caught her.

Homeworld's Freedom

Refugee and without a home to follow, Pyrope even thought of fleeing to Earth, but she realized that running to Earth would only bring her more and more problems, being an easy point to find her. After a long time wandering through space and planets, Pyrope snuggled up in an far away atmosphere: Blanq, The White Moon. Wandered through that abandoned colony until she found a large, dense place: White Diamond's Abandoned Control Tower; an abandoned building that the Diamonds used to control and destroy the environment of that colony. Entering there, Pyrope found and first met Cheek, Back and Nose: Three rubies who, like her, had also fled Homeworld. After a while, Pyrope decided not only to settle there, but also to train herself and the new Rubies.

Abilities

Pyrope has all the standard Gems abilities. Unlike aristocrat gems's cold and passive nature, over the years outside Blue Diamond's Court and Homeworld, Pyrope has been shown as a quick and agile gem, both in battle and in other situations. Pyrope has been training hard in White Diamond's Abandoned Control Tower since those days.
