Amber is a Crystal Gem and the hypothetical fusion of Steven Universe and Peridot. They are an original character created by Potatotally.
Appearance[]
Amber most likely has an appearance to that of other Ambers. They have short, thick build with poofed hair with some ends sticking up. Thay have two thick arms, 4 thick legs. Their skin is burnt orange, they have three eyes which the colour is unknown due to their glasses, they have a small nose and a smile with a visible gap between their teeth with undefined lips. Their hair is cream and is poofed with some ends sticking up.
Amber wears a pink short sleeved, chest length jacket, a very deep teal crop top with a yellow Crystal Gem's insignia on it and light golden glasses. They also have thier stomach covered by a deep green under shirt, they wear blue and periwinkle shorts, green under leggings with a very deep green Crystal Gem's insignia on the knees, yellow shin length socks and coral and gold slip-on shoes.
Their gemsones are located on their forehead and navel and are brown and orange in colour.
Personality[]
Amber's personality is sorta childish yet they can be serious when needed. They're smart due to Peridots half having knowledge about Homeworld and its technology yet can be clueless sometimes due to Stevens side not fully understanding Homeworlds past.
Abilities[]
Amber possesses most standard Gem abillities due to Amber being partly human.
Skillset[]
- Sled Proficiency: Amber is able to summon a sled based product and ride it around with Peridot's ferrokenisis.
Unique Abilities[]
- Shield Proficiency: Amber is able to summon Steven's shield and use it for self-defence and to protect others.
- Ferrokenisis: Amber is able to use Peridot's ferrokenisis to move metal around.
- Phytokinesis: Amber possess the ability to grow sentient fauna and flora.
- Bubble Shield: Amber can summon an incredibly durable bubble. In addition, they can expand the bubble to push away enemies.
- Empathic Telepathy: Amber can connect with another human or gem's mind.
- Speed of Descent Regulation: Amber possess Steven's ability to control their speed of descent based on emotion.
Relationships[]
Pearl and Garnet[]
Pearl and Garnet are about as suprised as they were when Smoky Quartz fused infront of them. Garnet looks more affectionate towards them and Pearl is pretty okay with it.
Amethyst[]
Amber and Amethyst get along pretty well. Peridots side of Amber is making jokes about how they're now taller than Amethyst when Steven is fused with Peridot causing Amethyst to shapeshift into Amber to get even. Literally.
Lapis Lazuli[]
Amber and Lapis get along as well as Peridot and Steven would get along with Lapis unfused. Lapis isnt particularly okay with Amber being fused around her but Lapis eventually learns to be more comfortable around Amber.
Trivia[]
- Amber and fusions between canon gems that didnt fuse in the show are all fanon and set in the "Potatotally Fan Fusions" category.
- This and other fusions including Peridot are highly unlikely due to Peridot be canonically Asexual.
- Potatotally had other designs before Amber. First it was Milky Quartz, then Watermelon Tourmaline. Amber was decided later after watching a YouTuber by the name of "Rose Cuarzo".
